11 Lipstick Pistol a.k.a “kiss of death”
Such things weren’t only part of James Bond movies but existed for real too. Preferred by KGB operatives during the cold war, the lipstick pistol was a .45 single shop weapon that could deliver a true kiss of death. It was disguised as a lipstick tube and its existence was revealed when one was confiscated at a West Berlin Border crossing.
10 Tree stump Bug
The CIA once designed a tree stump bug in the seventies that could relay vital information back to its base. It worked nonstop through solar power and was planted close to a Soviet Base to intercept radio transmissions. The information was relayed via satellite. However the KGB sound discovered the bug and a replica is displayed at the International spy museum.
