2 World’s Largest Flower
Rafflesia Arnoldii is the world’s largest flower with a width of 3.3 feet across and weight of around 24 pounds. There are 17 species of Rafflesia Arnoldii and it is found mostly in Indonesia, Malaysia, Borneo, Sumatra, Thailand, and the Philippines. It smells of rotten flesh and not an ideal gift for your loved ones.
It doesn’t have any leaves, stem or root and hosts on Tetrastigma Vine, making it a parasite. It takes 10 months for the flower to blossom and it stays in that condition for at most a week.

3 This river with boiling water
Andres Ruzo is the man who has prepared the first geothermal map of Peru and in it is included a very amazing river. This river in the Amazon basin is full of boiling water. He was taken to this river by her aunt, some 440 miles away from the volcano and into the Peruvian jungles to the river. The river was found to be 82 feet wide and 20 feet deep at some points. For a distance of 4 miles, the water of the river is almost at boiling point. This site is known as Mayantuyacu, and is considered sacred by the natives.
But the mystery is that no one can answer how the water in the river gets heated, as there is no volcano nearby and the river comes from a glacier in the Andes Mountains. The only explanation is that the water in the river goes deep underground through network of fissures and comes out at this place, superheated.
